In the age of lightning fast global connectivity, it’s alarming how disconnected things can feel. Cue mealtime, that increasingly disappearing pasttime whereby families and friends gather around a table to share meals, time and life together.

Re-Play is a recycled, family table-ware brand committed to providing products that are affordable, durable, and sustainable. Built into their DNA is the drive to give people the freedom to enjoy one another around the table over a meal.

Organization for the whole family

The plan for Re-play was to create an engaging theme design that made it easy for the customer to navigate. This required a reworking of the way product and collection searches functioned.

Re-Play organizes their products in Shopify as a single product with multiple color variants, but they needed their customers to have the ability to shop by color. We created the ability for customers to choose a color filter which then displays that specific color variant as an individual product for each product type. The theme also splits out color variants in product-type collection views so customers can see all the great colors Re-Play offers on products.

All of this allows customers to browse any way they want; by product type or by color, without complicating the inventory management.

Automating promotions using Launchpad

One of Re-Play’s major needs was for the ability to comfortably manage a number of custom promotions that all required different time constraints. Using Shopify Plus’ free Launchpad application, our developers were able to create custom scripts that automates specific scheduled promotional sales. No heavy lifting necessary! For smaller teams, having your software work for you even when you’re not is a game-changer.

Color me…easy

When it comes to shopping by color,it’s nice keeping the family on the same page. That's why we made Re-Play’s “add to cart” lightening fast and easy to navigate for when you need to get every item in the color you love. No more jumping back and forth between product pages, just add ‘em up from the collection view.
